Where Human Artistry Meets Artificial Intelligence
Music has always been the universal language of humanity.
Today, artificial intelligence is opening up new horizons—without ever replacing the hand that composes or the heart that feels.
The World AI Music Festival is the first festival in France entirely dedicated to music created with Artificial Intelligence, and the first in Cannes. Its unique format combines monthly competitions with official selections and awards, culminating in an annual ceremony celebrating the most innovative music creations made with Artificial Intelligence.

The World AI Music Festival in Cannes is an international festival dedicated to artists and composers who use Artificial Intelligence as a creative tool to push the boundaries of music.
Submissions for 2027 are now open!
OUR MISSION
The World AI Music Festival was born out of a deep conviction: artificial intelligence, far from being a threat to musical creation, is a tool in its own right—just as the synthesizer and the studio mixing console were in their day. Our mission is to showcase artists and composers who dare to explore this frontier, while strongly advocating for the irreplaceable value of the human effort behind every note, every algorithm, and every work.
A subsidiary of the World Film Festival in Cannes – Remember the Future, founded by filmmaker Karolina Bomba, this festival inherits a unique identity: that of a pioneering festival, the first in the world to have awarded prizes to works created using AI, embodying a vision in which innovation and ethics are never at odds, but rather complement one another.
OUR THREE PILLARS
Creativity above all else
Each submitted work is judged on its artistic power, uniqueness, and emotional impact—not on the technology used. AI is a tool. Art is whatever people make of it.
Responsible innovation
We value AI-generated works that respect artists’ rights, are based on ethically sourced data, and document the human creative process behind them.
A global stage
Independent composers, studios, researchers, multidisciplinary artists—the festival is open to all regions, all styles, and all musical forms.
THE JURY & THE SELECTION
An international jury composed of composers, producers, researchers in computational musicology, artists, and experts in AI ethics evaluates each submission based on rigorous criteria: artistic originality, coherence of the approach, sound quality, and transparency in the creative process. The winners are honored at the annual World AI Music Festival ceremony in Cannes—a venue of international prestige where music and cinema have converged for decades.
